About

About me

I'm Rosie — an international event planner & host (emcee), communications professional, fitness & wellness coach, yoga instructor, travel planner and tour organizer, nonprofit manager, community organizer, humanitarian, digital creator, and a creative who believes the best work lives at the edges of disciplines.

I've spent the last several years working in the nonprofit space, doing humanitarian work in Ghana and other parts of Africa and the Caribbean, creating creative digital content, and using my pep to encourage others to be their best selves. My work tends to find me at the intersection of craft and concept — where the visual and the verbal meet.

I have worked with a number of organizations (private, government, and nonprofit) and individuals, which gave me a deep appreciation for both the collective and individuals needs, working in various environments, across a diverse demographic, and the value of always being professional.

These days I take on a mix of client work and self-initiated projects. I'm drawn to collaborators who care about the details — and who aren't afraid to sit with a problem before rushing to a solution.

Ghana

I fell in love with Ghana after visiting in 2011. Since then, I visit as often as a can, always giving back to those who are less fortunate, including students, girls, and individuals. I also do tours to Ghana and other parts of the the world.

PEP Talk TV

Long before "podcast" was the thing, I created a TV talk show on 01/01/11 and it was shown in all Caribbean islands, and on a TV station in Florida and NY.  It was created to highlight ordinary people with extraordinary stories, and it was awesome.  I am still passionate about it, and am bringing it back.

The Hostess with the Mostess

I have the gift of gab, and have been using my voice to delight audiences since I was 10 years old.  If you are looking for a high energy emcee with a vibrant personality, professionalism, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences, connect with me.  I bring energy, elegance, and seamless flow to every event, ensuring an unforgettable experience for guests.

How I work

I work strategically and deliberately — because I think the best ideas need room to breathe. I ask a lot of questions, because I want to get input before my creativity takes over.  I ensure that my client and I are on the same page, before I get into my lab and then the magic happens. I do my most creative work independently but I also value collaboration.
